FIRST ANNUAL ECAG RIVERFEST ART SHOW

Artworks are to be turned in on Wednesday 14th (same day as our meeting),
between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., at the Wetumpka Depot Theater on
Main Street.
There will be only one category but will include artworks in any medium (includes photography and sculpture).
There will be a first place, second place, third place and honorable mentions.  Cash awards will be given for
first, second and third places.  The amount will depend on the money that is taken in for the show.

Since this is our first RiverFest Show, and you have had such short notice to work on something to
enter, for this show (and this show only), you may enter any artwork you may have shown before.
The artwork must be scenes  that include  rivers, lakes, ponds or creeks.

This is a juried show.  Russell Everett is the judge.  He has a M.F.A. from the University of
Cincinnati and a B.F.A. from Auburn University. He has been teaching art students at three different universities in the middle area of Alabama. His work ranges from subtle and intricate detailed pencil drawings to luscious, wet-on-wet watercolors to large stone vessels hammered out of natural stone. Russell has been actively exhibiting his work throughout the region at major galleries and museums. Mr. Everett also has actively participated in the instruction of young students throughout Alabama through various grants from the Alabama State Council on the Arts.
