When my husband Bob and I married and I was able to retire 5 years ago, I found myself with free time for the first time in my adult life.

I’d done some photography work on my job and really enjoyed it. My company gave me a digital camera as my retirement gift…they knew me pretty well! And…to use an overused adage…the rest is history.

Our home is a virtual treasure box of photo opportunities. From the bugs, bees, and butterflies to the deer, foxes, sunrises and sunsets, not to even mention the natural beauty that abounds in our area of Alabama…how could I not become addicted to trying to capture some of that beauty?

My forte is nature scenes…I’m not much into portraiture or still life or anything else that has to be staged. With me, it’s all about catching one tiny little moment in time…something that just happens and I happen to be lucky enough to be there when it happens.
