March 2008 ECAG Newsletter

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT:

Another great Winter Show…..and the largest ever!  Of course, it just gets better and better every year and that is thanks to all of you who entered your artwork and all of you who worked hard to put it together.  A special thanks goes to Stephanie Harrison who was the chairman of this show.

We now look forward to our next juried show which will be the Christmas on the Coosa Art Show.  Start painting now.  The theme for this show will be “Glimpses of Elmore County.”  Only one category this year since we feel you have been given enough time to paint or create artwork that represents Elmore County.

CATEGORY VI  - SCULPTURE

Unfortunately we had only three entries in this category.  It is an ECAG entry rule that we must have at least five entries in a category before the category can be juried.  I know we have members that can do great sculptures.  For our next winter art show, we encourage you to enter!

A special “thank you so much” goes to Robin Rogers and Connie Carraway Baker for their entries.
