May 2009 Newsletter

The ECAG Executive Board met on Monday, May 11, 2009.

Carol Meredith will conduct an art project for "Be Creative in Your Library" coming up on June 16th, 1:00 to 2:00 p.m..  Seventy-five children participated last year.   Barbara Moody has volunteered to help Carol.

A summer board meeting is scheduled for June 22, 2009, at Ruby Tuesdays to plan ECAG's participation  in the Wetumpka Fourth of July/125th City Anniversary Celebration.

At the last board meeting, it was decided that we needed to purchase more screens. Shirley Esco presented the idea for new screens.....those that break down in the middle.  They are 37 1/2 inches by six feet tall and the feet are included.

Shirley Esco read a copy of her letter requesting the grant from the City.  There was some discussion on wording the letter to show Guild expense on City projects.
