I: Carol Hickman, Carol Barksdale, Doris Bell, Darrell Juror: Donna Pickens, Assistant Curator of Education for the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts Juror's Statement: "There is a very nice variety of artistic styles and techniques illustrated in this exhibition, so that jurying the show was difficult. In the end, awards were given to those works that demonstrated more unusual compositions or photographic views and that made an emotional connection with me. I appreciate the opportunity to view this exhibition and to learn about such talented artists!" EXHIBITS

Christmas on the Coosa “Glimpses of Elmore County” is coming up in
December. Be working on your entries!! It isn’t too early to be thinking about your entries for the 2011 SAC’s Waterfront Show. The show will be in Sep. this year, at the Montgomery Visitor Center. All art must have a Downtown Montgomery (36104 Area Code) or a water theme. So start snapping pictures, drawing, painting, and sculpting. More information will be forthcoming in the near future. It is almost
summer! Mosquitoes are out--fleas, tics, and other creepy-crawlies. Bubbles
Bailey has some great homeopathic repellent that even soothes bites, and can
be used on animals as well as people. It is actually good for your skin as
well!!! We have a few bottles in stock at SAC’s Gallery so come down and
check it out. If you
have information for the next ECAG newsletter, please email to Doris Bell.
