The Alabama River Region Art Center ( www.ARRAC.org ) is in need of help from artists to assist us. We will be holding a Wetumpka Indian Summer Art Festival in Sept of 2011 and will be soon opening the Center in Early 2011. To raise funds for these events and help us open our doors, we are conducting an Silent Art Auction at Christmas on the Coosa to be held the morning of 11 Dec in Downtown Wetumpka along with other events.
To assist us, we are looking for donated art items to be placed in the auction with minimum bid requirements. All proceeds will go to the ARRAC. If you have items to donate please contact Vickie Ham at vjham@aol or 334-514-9298. We will arrange to pick the item up or you can drop them off at 1426 Creamer Rd., Wetumpka. All Art is welcome, we are looking for all types of items to not only raise the funds we need but make the community more aware of the art available in the area and the Center opening soon that will have classes for all ages and areas.
It was voted
on and passed to raise the yearly ECAG dues to $35, effective January 1, 2011.
Dues are for one year, January 1st through December 31st and cannot be prorated.
