Our ECAG December meeting will be hosted by Judy Lea at her home.
This will be a covered-dish luncheon.  Bring  a covered dish and, for each person attending, a wrapped gift ($5 or less).  Date is Wednesday December 8th at 11:30 a.m.
New officers will be installed.


Our Members in the News

Rich Richardson won a 3rd at the SAC’s Waterfront show depicting shrimp boats as a computer generated piece, and  "Tugboat" on display was sold before the show.  Congratulations!

Barbara Bryan wins at Alabama National Fair: Alabama National Fair photography competition...Me and My Mom
(horses) got 1st place and Fox in the Snow got 2nd  in the amateur animals division; Oriental Ladies got honorable mention in flowers division.  Congratulations!

 Libby Christian:  Libby had a photo juried into the "Figuratively Speaking" national juried art contest.  The exhibit will be hung in the Village Gallery, 107 S. Court Street, in downtown Montgomery during November.  Congratulations!

Donna Cantrell:  Third place in 2010 Annual Lake Martin Living Art Competition.  Congratulations!


Carol Barksdale:  Created the poster for the Riverwalk Wine Festival.  Limited edition prints can be purchased at Gallery One.


SAC’s Gallery will have a Holiday Open House Sunday, 14 Nov from 2-4 pm. Come by and get a little head start on your holiday shopping, or just to say hi. Refreshments and good friends will be there along with lots of new art and fine craft from our exhibitors.

The Society of Arts & Crafts Member’s Show will be 16 Jan 11. Anyone who is a society member can enter. Look for more information in SAC’s upcoming newsletter.


Our love and sympathy go to Judy Lea in the loss of her husband, Luke Lea.  Guild members will always remember Luke as a very likeable, friendly, happy person and a supporter of the Guild.  We will miss you, Luke.
