Rebecca Grice's love for the outdoors shines through in her landscapes.

She and her husband divide their time between their home in Alabama and their cabin, which is wedged between the Powderhorn and LaGarita Wilderness areas in the San Juan Mountains of Southwestern Colorado.

"My happiest times are spent on horseback exploring the awesome La Garita and Powderhorn Wilderness areas," she says. It is from these excursions that she captures many of the scenes that become her paintings.

While in Alabama she portrays the charm of the wooded hills, lakes, and streams in landscapes of that area. “When people see my art, I want them to feel the same sense of awe, I experience when I’m there—surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation,” she explains.
