It is with sadness to report Mildred Trotter, ECAG Charter Member,
passed away on Saturday, August 20. Mildred was a charming lady and
will be greatly missed.

The response you showed our family after the death of our son was wonderful.
You will never know how much it meant to me to see my friends from the
Elmore County Art Guild at his funeral, or to receive the beautiful hydrangea,
or to receive the gift basket and devotional book, or to get a note from the Church
about the $15.00 donation. Also all of the visits, cards and calls from art guild
members helped me a lot. You have reached out to me in so many ways and I
appreciate each and every one of them.

I will never get over this; however, with friends like you I can keep going.
Thank you for all you did and please continue to pray for us.

Carol Hickman and Family

At a special-called ECAG meeting on August 3, 2011, the membership voted
unanimously to withdraw our support from the Alabama River Region
Arts Center
.  Any individual ECAG member may support them.  We wish
the ARRAC success.
